Snack Shack Volunteer FAQS

 

Dear Parents,

First of all, we want to extend our sincere thanks to all of our volunteers. The Snack Shack simply could not operate without your dedicated support. We applaud you for investing your time in your child and the league. Whether you’ve volunteered at the Snack Shack before or are new to helping out, please read through this entire document, as there have been some important changes.

🥎 SNACK SHACK VOLUNTEER – FAQ

1. Who can volunteer?

  • Adults and youth 16 years and older may volunteer.

  • 16-year-olds must present a valid school ID at check-in.

  • Volunteers under 16 are not permitted to work in the Snack Shack.

  • If a 16-year-old does not present ID and no adult is available to cover the shift, the $100 deposit will be forfeited.

2. When can I sign up?

Volunteer shifts will be released on the league website once available.

All divisions will have access at the same time, and the league will send an official email notification when registration opens.

⚠️ Important: If you have an outstanding balance on your account, you will not be eligible to sign up until your registration is paid in full.

3. How do I sign up?

  1. Visit lbhfp.com

  2. Log into your Team Sideline account

  3. Click on Volunteer Shifts

  4. Select your preferred date and time

You will receive a confirmation email once your shift is scheduled.
If you don’t see one, check your spam folder.

If you are unsure whether your shift was successfully scheduled, contact the Snack Shack Coordinator.

4. Where is the Snack Shack located?

The Snack Shack is located at Pan Am Park, across the street from Bancroft Middle School.

Please arrive on time.
There is a 15-minute grace period. After 15 minutes, you will be marked as a no-show.

If running late, notify the Snack Shack Coordinator immediately.

5. How do I receive my $100 refund?

The Snack Shack Coordinator will have your refund check available immediately after you complete your full shift.

To receive your refund, you must:

  • Have paid the $100 Snack Shack Fee

  • Sign up for one shift

  • Complete the entire 3-hour shift

6. What happens if I miss my shift?

  • No-shows or partial shifts result in forfeiture of your deposit.

  • No-shows cannot be rescheduled.

  • Cancellations must be made at least 48 hours prior to your shift.

To properly cancel, you must:

  1. Cancel your shift in Team Sideline

  2. Email the Snack Shack Coordinator

Failure to complete both steps will result in a no-show designation and forfeiture of the deposit.
